Unexpected Outcomes As time goes by and I get older it’s been impossible to forget a tragedy that happened three years ago. Without knowing, the vacations that I had most wished for turned out a nightmare. For many years my brothers and I begged our parents for some family vacations. Everything was always the same. Every morning we would wake up, my parents would get ready for work, and I got ready for school. It soon became a habit we never went out. One day we as a family made a promise. My dad agreed to take us on vacations if we got our grades up in school. My dad took a second job to keep his promise and so did we. My brothers and I brought our grades up. Eight months later we were off headed to Mexico. My dad decided to take us on vacations to Mexico to visit our grandparents. The trip was long but it was surely amazing. Finally we got time to spend time with our parents, because of their work we rarely saw them. After twenty hours of traveling we finally arrived. To our surprise my grandparents had arranged a welcome party. Even though we were really tired from traveling I was happy we had arrived. It was only three weeks but I was determined to have fun and enjoy every single one of those days. Day after day there was nothing else than family reunions.
